The AS-1100 series is an 8" crimping-tool family with interchangeable dies for cord-end terminals; the listed AS-1151 measures 204 mm by 66 mm, weighs 377 g, and crimps cord-end terminals AWG 22-10. Its interchangeable die set can be operated with a screwdriver, the full-cycle ratchet mechanism is used to increase crimp reliability, and customized logo laser marking or printing is available. ASTOOL also identifies MC4 solar-terminal crimping, stainless cable-tie tension tools, and custom terminal/connector tool design as areas developed beyond its established wiring-tool categories. For custom terminal and connector requirements, the company links tool design with inspection conditions such as pull-force, crimping-force, and water-resistance requirements after crimping.

Company profile

ASTOOL CORPORATION was founded in 1991 in Shu-Lin, Taiwan, as a professional manufacturer of wiring hand tools. Its established product categories include crimping tools, waterproof-connector crimping tools, rotary coaxial cable strippers, and internet modular crimping tools. ASTOOL states that it has more than 30 years of experience and has been among Taiwan’s top five hand-tool manufacturers in the crimping and stripping-tool industry by quantity or quality. Most ASTOOL products are sold under different customer brands but are based on ASTOOL’s own designs, and the company also manufactures OEM/ODM products and can remake discontinued tools for further modification. The company exports through agencies and direct orders across continents, while all spare parts used in its tools are sourced in Taiwan according to its company profile. ASTOOL also develops custom tools for terminals and connectors with special specifications and has supported corporations and enterprises with post-crimp inspection requirements such as pull-force testing, crimping-force requirements, and water-resistance testing. In addition to established wiring tools, ASTOOL has developed tools for MC4 solar terminals and easy-carry handy-type stainless cable-tie tensioning.
