HONITON's supply range includes Socket and Accessory products, Wrench products, Impact Tools Set products, Other Tools, Trolley or Toolbox products and Display products. Named signature products include HONIDRIVER, DRIVE ON WRENCH, MAGNETIC EXTENSION BAR, T-PARK, SLIM RATCHET HANDLE, LOCKING SOCKET and QUICK RELEASE. The product range also includes the named 12PC DRIVE-ON WRENCH SET. HONIDRIVER extends across sockets, spark-plug tools, spanners and ratchets, while its multi-purpose spanner is intended to work with several fastener profiles rather than a single screw format. For custom hand-tool programs, HONITON can accept OEM orders through dedicated production lines that accommodate individual custom items and can undertake ODM orders through in-house R&D, design and production. The company describes the overall system as suitable for automotive, industrial, retail and hardware markets, linking sockets, wrenches, impact tools and related accessories with multiple end-use channels. Its manufacturing support for these products is tied to integrated forging, grinding, lathing, milling, knurling, punching and reshaping processes at the Taichung factory, with increasing use of automated and precise equipment. HONITON's patent coverage in Taiwan, the United States, Germany, the European Union, Japan, India and China is associated with a product portfolio built around proprietary hand-tool designs and custom manufacturing.
Company profile
HONITON INDUSTRIES INC. was founded in 1979 in Taiwan as a hand-tool manufacturer and developed its manufacturing around high-hardening, high-tenacity alloy steel together with bulk heat-treatment capability. After the company completed an applied industrial-steel transformation, it launched the HONITON brand and widened the range of finished hand tools it produced. Its manufacturing base combines socket production and a wrench production line in the same factory, making sockets and wrenches the company's first two main product series. The company maintains in-house research and development capability and states that it is able to create newly developed items rather than limiting production to existing products. In 2004, HONITON introduced the patented gear-tooth HONIDRIVER, applying the design to sockets, spark-plug tools, spanners and ratchets. The HONIDRIVER multi-purpose spanner is described for loosening fasteners in hexagonal metric and inch formats as well as TORX, 12R, SQUAE and Triangle screw kits. In 2020, HONITON relocated to a newly built factory in Taiping District, Taichung City with an area of 52,756 square meters after a plan developed over the preceding decade. The new factory integrates and optimizes forging, grinding, lathing, milling, knurling, punching and reshaping processes, and the company has invested in more automated and precise production equipment. The factory program also includes renewable-energy construction, solar panels across the roof, greenbelt planning around the complex and an energy-saving policy connected with the UN sustainable development goals. HONITON operates private production lines for both OEM and ODM orders; OEM work emphasizes flexibility for custom items, while ODM work can combine the company's own R&D, design and production in a one-stop service. The company states that it holds patents in Taiwan, the United States, Germany, the European Union, Japan, India and China, reflecting protection of its product technology across multiple markets. Its product positioning covers automotive, industrial, retail and hardware markets, giving the same manufacturing platform applications across professional and distribution channels. HONITON's brand-management approach is centered on providing hand tools that users can employ with confidence through the use of selected bulk material and precise manufacturing procedures.
