Exhibits

For measurement applications, KEYENCE presents difficult measurement cases and explains real-time, accurate 3D measurement methods organized by industry, workpiece shape, material, and machining method; it also provides use cases and product-selection guidance for displacement sensors. A named dimensional-measurement product is the Image Dimension Measurement System IM-8000 series. Its vision-system range covers integrated smart cameras and high-speed controller types, multiple area-camera formats, proprietary line-scan cameras, and 3D cameras, with inspection tools based on AI or logic databases plus lighting, lenses, filters, and other image-processing peripherals. The VS-G series combines a 32-core AI engine with dedicated image storage, supports AI image inspection on the controller, and is designed to store every image without omissions for traceability; its processor is stated to deliver processing speeds up to 13 times faster than previous designs. VS-G also uses a new image-compression method that can compress images by more than 100 times while maintaining image quality at a level equivalent to the original, allowing longer-term storage even for good-part images that might otherwise be omitted because of capacity limits. The VS series combines AI tools with software-controlled optical zoom through ZoomTrax, allowing focus and field of view to be adjusted without changing lenses; KEYENCE also describes 25-megapixel high-precision AI inspection and initial setup using learning from dozens of images on a standard PC. The CV-X series emphasizes image-based setup and operation, offers 22 area-camera choices, and can connect to the LJ-V for 3D profile measurement, while the XG-X series supports customized programmable interfaces, 3D and line-scan functions, and high-resolution camera configurations. For XG-X, the stated memory capacity is about 12,700 uncompressed VGA color-camera images or about 110 uncompressed 64-megapixel color-camera images, and the platform can process multiple 64-megapixel color cameras, line-scan cameras, or cameras used for 3D inspection. Line Scan series cameras target high-speed appearance inspection of large parts, circuit boards, and cylindrical workpieces, while the 2D VGR robot-vision range supports robot connection, automatic calibration, pick-and-place functions, offset correction, and ShapeTrax 3 searching. Supporting vision hardware includes CA-D series LED lighting and CA-L series machine-vision lenses, including super-resolution, low-distortion, and vibration-resistant lens options. For motion applications, the motor range includes QS series hybrid stepping motors with a driver equipped with operation buttons and an OLED display for rapid startup, plus the SV series AC servo system intended for high response speed, torque, rotational speed, and resolution. Microscopy and surface-measurement products include the VHX-X1 digital microscope with 4K CMOS imaging, 4K-compatible lenses, an advanced optical shadow-effect mode, abnormality identification, and a 300 mm large stage whose analysis range is stated as nine times the previous range. The EA-300 elemental-analysis module enables elemental analysis through the VHX digital-microscope platform without destroying the target, coating it, or applying a vacuum, and includes AI-based recommendations to assist material identification after analysis. The VK-X4000 shape-analysis laser confocal and white-light interferometric microscope integrates laser confocal, white-light interference, and Focus Variation scanning, supports difficult materials such as mirror and transparent targets, and adds automated multipoint measurement for multiple targets or positions. The displacement-measurement range includes non-contact laser profile and 3D systems for height, step, width, gap, area, volume, profile, angle, radius, and point-based dimensional checks; single-point laser displacement sensors can inspect height, dimensions, thickness, displacement, vibration, and runout across materials from dark rubber to transparent film. Additional displacement products include 1D and 2D laser scanning and optical micrometers for diameter, pitch, tooth width, roundness, position, and radius; spectral-interference displacement sensors with a 2 mm-diameter head, 5 kHz sampling, and up to six measuring points; eddy-current sensors for metal targets; and contact displacement sensors with multiple working distances and head types. New-product lines include ER long-distance proximity sensors; the VS-G vision system; the VK-X4000 microscope; the IM-X1000 image-measurement system with a maximum 500 mm stage; the SK online static sensor with ±1.0 V measurement accuracy and 1.4 ms sampling; and the MD-U 3-axis UV laser marker, for which marking time is stated to be 50% shorter than before. The same range also includes FT digital infrared temperature sensors with detection distances up to 3000 mm, IV4 AI vision sensors, GL-V compact safety light curtains, VL-800 3D scanning coordinate-measurement equipment, VS 2D robot vision, and SJ-Q hybrid static eliminators specified at ±3 V ion balance and 0.1-second static-elimination speed.

Company profile

KEYENCE TAIWAN CO., LTD. is the Taiwan subsidiary of KEYENCE CORPORATION and is the organization responsible for KEYENCE sales, support, and operations in Taiwan; its portfolio includes sensors, machine vision systems, precision measuring instruments, laser markers, code readers, digital and 3D microscopes, static eliminators, and other factory-automation support products. The company combines global research and development resources with local technical support, with solutions intended to improve product and process quality, raise production efficiency, and reduce operating costs. Professionally trained sales engineers provide consultative support from equipment demonstrations and application testing through pre-purchase evaluation using test units, helping customers assess whether a solution fits the intended application before purchase. Support also includes same-day shipment, direct technical assistance, installation assistance, and product training to help customers introduce equipment and maintain stable processes. Industries served in Taiwan include automotive, semiconductor, medical-device, electronics, packaging, food, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. KEYENCE was founded in Osaka in 1974, and the Taiwan company was established when KEYENCE formally entered the Taiwan market in 1992 and introduced its direct-sales model with local technical support. The Taiwan operation expanded its milestones with a full automation portfolio in 2014, higher-precision dimensional-measurement solutions in 2019, barcode-based production tracking and process control in 2021, direct service through Tainan and Taipei offices in 2022, and non-contact 3D profile measurement introduced to the Taiwan market in 2024.
